Philippines

There are 10 premium screens in Philippines, across IMAX and Chain premium screen. The biggest picture is at SM Mall of Asia IMAX — 443 m² of lit screen, 68% more than the next room.

No room here can show the full 1.43:1 IMAX frame. Every screen in Philippines crops to 1.90 or wider, so a film shot with IMAX cameras will be missing about a quarter of its picture wherever you see it.

Worth knowing before you book: SM Mall of Asia IMAX never lights 31% of its screen. The fabric is bigger than the picture, which is why the ranking here is by lit area rather than by the dimensions cinemas advertise.

7 of 10 publish their dimensions; the rest are scored on an estimate and marked as such. 1 of 10 has a projector confirmed by two independent sources. 3 rooms are digital with the generation never established — we say so rather than guessing which laser it is.
