Saudi Arabia

There are 14 premium screens in Saudi Arabia, across IMAX and Dolby Cinema. The biggest picture is at Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Science and Technology Centre — 471 m² of lit screen, 250% more than the next room.

One room — Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Science and Technology Centre — can show the full 1.43:1 IMAX frame. Everywhere else in the country crops to 1.90, which is roughly a quarter less picture on a film shot for it.

One of these is a dome, scored on projected surface area — not a like-for-like comparison with a flat screen, and noted as such on the pages.

2 of 14 publish their dimensions; the rest are scored on an estimate and marked as such. 5 of 14 have a projector confirmed by two independent sources.
