CinemaxX Hamburg-Dammtor - Saal 1
Hamburg · GermanyEstimated
PremiumCinemaIQ rates this CinemaxX room C, 35/100 — a modest premium screen, with no published dimensions, so the size score rests on an estimate. No source names the projector in this room, so the score is indicative. Data read 5 November 2026.
The largest CinemaxX auditorium in Germany: 264 sq m screen, headline capacity 1,001. German Wikipedia notes only 969 actual seating places, 'virtually expanded' to 1,001 for advertising purposes - a rare documented case of a chain rounding up its own headline number. Opened 1996 as Germany's largest new theatre construction of the time. Barco laser projection. Screen area published, dimensions not.

* This venue has never published its screen dimensions. Size is scored on a deliberately conservative estimate, so an unmeasured screen can't out-rank a measured one on guesswork.
