Novo IMG Dubai & IMAX

Dubai · United Arab EmiratesEstimated

PremiumCinemaIQ rates this IMAX room A, 68/100 — a genuinely strong large-format room, with no published dimensions, so the size score rests on an estimate, and it can show the full 1.43:1 frame. The projector rests on a dated source, so the score is indicative. Data read 21 October 2026.

⚠ This venue has closed. Closed (Novo Cinemas IMG Worlds Dubai) Note some tourism blogs still describe it as Dubai's largest IMAX with Laser - stale content. We have not re-confirmed this since it was recorded.

The projector here comes from a 2021 industry listing that we haven't been able to re-confirm. IMAX has converted a lot of screens to laser since, so a 2021 label is a 2021 state rather than a current one. Treat the score as indicative.

* This venue has never published its screen dimensions. Size is scored on a deliberately conservative estimate, so an unmeasured screen can't out-rank a measured one on guesswork.
