6 premium screens
San Jose
There are 6 premium screens in San Jose, across IMAX, Dolby Cinema and ScreenX. The biggest picture is at Tech Interactive — 736 m² of lit screen, 390% more than the next room.
One room — Tech Interactive — can show the full 1.43:1 IMAX frame. Everywhere else in town crops to 1.90, which is roughly a quarter less picture on a film shot for it.
One of these is a dome, scored on projected surface area — not a like-for-like comparison with a flat screen, and noted as such on the pages.

Scored on the picture each room actually lights, not the fabric it is painted on. A tilde means the projector rests on a single dated source.
