Regal Edwards Big Newport - RPX Regal RPX
Newport Beach · United StatesEstimated
PremiumCinemaIQ rates this Regal RPX room C, 23/100 — a modest premium screen, with no published dimensions, so the size score rests on an estimate. No source states the projector, so the score is indicative. Data read 5 November 2026.
California, USA. The most famous large-screen house in the Regal circuit - the legendary Big Newport auditorium at 300 Newport Center Drive, an industry preview venue, now running RPX in the main house. NO screen dimensions are published by Regal or any reliable source, so width, height, seats and opening year are all not recorded. Included because if any RPX qualifies as a genuine large format it is this one - but it could not be verified and should not be presented as measured.
Map position approximate (city centre)
Respectable, but not the full IMAX proposition.

* This venue has never published its screen dimensions. Size is scored on a deliberately conservative estimate, so an unmeasured screen can't out-rank a measured one on guesswork.
